Not always angry ones, but within arguments I have noticed something about people lately. I'm not and repeat am not aiming this journal at anyone, I have had literally about 4 different talks with people and that's just recent, not withing the last few months even. and one thing that stands out is this.

If there is subject matter, people will only agree, advocate, support, accept, and even listen to, only what coincides with their own view points, even if it may have holes in the subject, they will willingly ignore them, even to a point when offered another view point, even when it has facts to back up its argument, so as to simply disagree and assume, and take things into over literal context so it could be used for their own belief.  When facts are on both sides and there are also misconceptions on both sides, people would rather keep to their sides than take truly and fully both sides  into account and make a more balanced choice.  This far left and far right wing bullshit these days really irks me you know?   But the ironic part is, that everyone absolutely everyone does this.  people don't want facts, they want their ears tickled so to speak. They want their beliefs and views promoted, period.if it opposes people tend to try to dissect it more veraciously than normal. if it advocates it, then  they tend to give a nod and go on about their day without thinking. It's only natural to create and seek groups of and for like minded people, it gives greater chance for survival and allows a more comfortable existence usually. Anything opposing these things makes people become defensive and even offensive.  People will use what ever ammo they can to win their argument, even trying to use the same things that were said to them back at you. People don't want change, improvment, or anything to go against their comfortable life, thinking is hard and can be stressful so it's far easier to simply go with any particular flow that you're in, whether it be going this way or that way, or that other way.  As much you try to not do these things, you will, it's simply human nature. but reducing greatly helps.   Simply saying "that's wrong"   without a reason or trying to use a single example, or making something sound smart when really it's to simplistic and even has opposing facts, to promote a way of thinking, or to try to prove something even if the subject matter is meaningless to you, is simply small minded.  You have to look at things you don't like, and admit to things you don't want to, and sometimes even up root your very way of thinking, and personal ethics in order to grow as a human being.

Pretty much yeah.  However some even neglect the idea that the other person did look at both of the views, and went with one based on logic and evidence.  But they still get ridiculed for being one sided even if they did evaluate both views.  That happens to me alot.  I look at both sides, and when someone tells me something against one view, I evaluate it, maybe even look stuff up, And eventually come up with a standing point.  but if that differs from there opinion, They say I am one sided.  Don't even listen to anything I say about nether of the sides.  They don't even hear me when I complement there view on certain aspects.  I think they just grow deff when I talk, and then they go on shouting their opinion and spit at anything different.

Not sure if you think of me one sided sometimes, but I have noticed some miscommunication in some of our conversations.  Like we talked about evolution.  I evaluated evolution, I even liked the idea, but when new logic and data was presented to me, I gained a new opinion on it.  And in the real observable world we actually see what is called natural selection, witch many confuse for evolution.  but since there is so many variance in the idea of what evolution is, including with evolutionists, how would you define it?  Even you agried that many peoples idea of what it is is shotty.

So did this Journal get some kind of inspiration from that video I sent you last night?
